O2 Pay As You Go Plans

O2 has a standard prepaid plan and also a "Talkalot" plan. Standard tariffs are as follows:

Fixed lines and other O2 (weekends) 25p for first 3 mins/day,
2p/min for rest of day
Fixed lines and other O2 (weekday) 25p for first 3 mins/day,
5p/min for rest of day
Other mobile networks 40p per min anytime
Voicemail 10p per call
Texts 10p
Media Messages 25p
GPRS data £2.35 per MB

If you talk more than 100 minutes per month or make many calls to other networks you will want to get the airtime bundle called "Talkalot with Calls and Messages"  With this bundle, you top up £10 and get 100 anyone/anytime minutes to use for the month.  Each minute can be used as credit towards a text message or 3 minutes can be used as credit towards a media message.  Texts are 10p each anyway, so better to use this bundle if you need it for voice calls. 1 MB of web browsing is also included
